The Daniel Movement is a mission to empower Christian educators by rekindling their passion, calling, and courage to bring God’s love and truth into Europe’s schools! It invites educators to embrace their calling as modern-day Daniels, standing out in a culture that often ignores God. Our retreats offer a nurturing environment for small groups to meet, share insights, and uplift one another in an atmosphere of worship and prayer. Through experiential learning and attitude development we provide training and resources to equip educators in their calling to serve Christ in the classroom!

-
AWAKE is a one day transformational experience for Christian educators that opens their eyes to God’s calling on their lives and the opportunities they have to represent him in their schools as his Ambassadors. Educators will leave renewed, equipped and inspired to navigate challenges in a way that points others to Jesus. This program is ideal for the busy educator who does not have resources or the time to give to a Daniel weekend and is beneficial for educators who are looking for ways to integrate their faith into their work.
-
The Daniel Weekend offers educators a deeper exploration of their roles as Christ’s ambassadors in the classroom. Participants will connect with fellow educators, fostering mutual understanding and support. The weekend includes worship and prayer, along with practical skill-building modules covering topics such as relationship building, effective communication, legal freedoms, and strategies to navigate common challenges in Christian education. Participants will also create personalized action plans to implement upon returning to their schools.
-
Expanding on the Daniel Weekend, the Daniel Week provides additional time for educators to deepen their relationships with one another and with God. The program emphasizes more extensive discussions on relationship-building, our identity, beliefs and personal mission, exploring the impact of technology, gospel conversations, and sharing testimonies. Participants will share their dreams and create an action plan for the future.
-
Restart is a weekend retreat intended for educators who feel spiritually weary and need to reignite their passion for teaching. This retreat focuses on reconnecting with Christ and allowing His Spirit to rejuvenate participants. The schedule allows for ample personal reflection time in the Word, complemented by guided activities designed to help participants consider God’s purpose for them and address any burdens they may be carrying. They work on their Life map and space for implementing what God is showing them as more important.

"Daniel Weekend helped me understand my identity. After the weekend, I asked my principal to allow an after-school teacher group meeting. We now meet to encourage each other and pray for our school.”
- Olga. Ukraine
“The event gave me rest, breath, encouragement, and personal answers. The Lord God has confirmed to me that my place is in the school.”
- Anonymous AWAKE participant
“Busy as teachers can be, we don’t necessarily take time to dream, search our hearts, or just process everything that is going on in our schools. Daniel Weekend is a very precious time for me. It allows me to stop for a while and re-focus on teaching as my calling and on the One who called me. Also, having the time apart to pray, read, learn, and discuss with other teachers is so refreshing and nourishing for my soul and spirit.”
