Our commission as disciples of Jesus is to bring the transformative news and presence of God's Kingdom wherever we are called. How do we do this as teachers in 21st Century Europe? Our settings and opportunities will differ, but the same Holy Spirit lives in each of us. We can be certain if He has placed us in a situation, we are there to bring His transformation. We can also be certain He is there with us, filling us with love, power and wisdom. Therefore, we need to recognise the effective weapons He gives us, the tactics He leads us in, the allies He supplies and how He helps us secure victory before we see it.

A teacher’s influence reaches far beyond the lesson plan. In a world that often measures influence by popularity, we are called to seek God’s vision for our role—leading with purpose and intention through His empowerment. This session will explore how we can embrace our God-given influence to impact students, schools, and communities for His glory.

Does your teaching environment present ongoing challenges to the exercise of your faith, creating personal strain, resulting in barriers to boldly influencing your campus for kingdom impact? What if you could change the spiritual climate of your campus environment and open up streams for God’s transformative love and truth at your school?
Developing and exercising transformational leadership as an ambassador for Christ on campus can impact lives and change the spiritual climate of your school.
During his earthly ministry, Jesus demonstrated an empowered model of transformational leadership and taught his disciples how to exercise such leadership for the spiritual transformation of others and communities. This workshop will explore the four central components of transformational leadership for the Christian life through the lens of Scripture and educators' testimonies, and demonstrate how such leadership can empower educators to change lives and cultivate a spiritual environment founded upon God’s love and truth.

Jesus is the most influential person in human history. We are His direct representatives, sent by Him to bring the hope of salvation into our schools. Jesus was influential because He lived in the sure and certain hope of His Father caring about people and having the power to bring answers to their needs. We can have the same hope, because we have access to the same source of hope, and the person with the most hope in a situation has the most influence in that situation.
Warning, don't come to this active, faith-building workshop if you want to live as a 'hope-less' Christian.

As educators who seek to evaluate and improve our teaching, we can easily fall into the trap of cultivating an inner voice that focuses on self-evaluation and self-improvement. As a result, we often get stuck feeling inferior and not good enough. In this practical, step-by-step workshop, you'll discover Immanuel Journaling, a simple method to leave behind the monologue with self and engage in a dialogue with God, leaving you connected to your loving Father who sees you, empathizes with you, and helps you.
