Travel Instructions to Konferenční centrum Malenovice

From Prague Vaclav Havel Airport:
- After arriving at the airport, follow signs to the Airport Express Bus (AE Bus) stop. The bus leaves only from Terminal 1!
- Take the AE Bus (departs every 30 minutes) to Hlavní nádraží (Main train station)
- At Hlavní nádraží, take a train to Ostrava-Svinov (3 – 3.5 hours). We advise you to book your seat ahead of time, online (some helpful tips can be found here).
- Take one of the conference buses below to the conference center.
From Katowice Airport:
- In the airport, walk to FlixBus bus stop (platform no. 7). It is located on airport parking P1 near airport terminal A. Purchase a ticket in advance to Ostrava-ÚAN (central bus station) here (2 hour trip).
- From Ostrava-ÚAN, take one of the conference buses below to the conference center.
From Katowice by train
Find your train connection at https://www.omio.com/
Enter Katowice to Ostrava.
Let us know speedily when you will arrive in Ostrava, so we can coordinate bus to Malenovice.
From Vienna International Airport:
- At the airport, follow signs to the train station within the airport terminal.
- Purchase a train ticket to Vienna Hauptbahnhof (the main station). Trains run regularly and the trip takes roughly 15-20 minutes.
- At Vienna Hauptbahnhof, take a train to Ostrava-Svinov (3 – 3.5 hours). We advise you to book your seat ahead of time here, and to take a direct train if possible.
- Take one of the conference buses below to the conference center.
Conference Buses from Ostrava:
After registration, you will be sent a form to express interest in taking one of the organized buses to the conference center (5€ one way).
If the times you plan to arrive or leave the conference center do not match with the availability of the chartered buses, it is possible to go completely by public transportation. You can take bus 345 from the train station in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí to Malenovice, parkoviště, and from there it is a 19 minute walk. However, please pay close attention to the bus schedule as it is very limited and some buses end their route before Malenovice, parkoviště.
Always check Google Maps, IDOS.cz, or Mapy.cz for the latest information on best routes. Tickets can be purchased for buses/trams/trains etc. in advance online, or at the station by card, but make sure to always have cash on hand as card is not accepted in some places.
By Car:
The Malenovice Conference Cente is located in the Malenovice
municipality at the foot of Lysá hora and approximately 5k from the city of Frýdlant nad Ostravicí.
In the town of Frýdlant take the turn towards Malenovice by the railway. The hotel is to the left of the main road approximately 500m above the parking lot.
Parking is free for hotel guests with 20 parking spaces by the hotel and a parking lot (200 m2/2150 sq ft) at the foot of the hill.
