As reported here in February, the French parliament discussed new laws to set limits on (muslim) radicalism. But these laws were likely to bring new obstacles also to Christian homeschooling and free schools.
A collective gathered and set to work for several months; it brought together people of all walks, concerned about the issue: lawyers, various networks of IEF (Family Instruction) associations, and free schools (Réseau Mathurin Cordier France, ACSI).
The opposition has had some effect, writes the “Christian Family” network. Homeschoolers can present their case and if accepted, they can get permission. And the transition to he new law allows for time to adjust.
